Amlima F.C. volunteers in Syracuse PAL Inaugural Awards Ceremony

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Amlima F.C. has made a meaningful impact off the pitch by volunteering for the Syracuse PAL Inaugural Awards Ceremony.

The inaugural award ceremony for the Syracuse Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) took place at Burnet Park Indoor Turf on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 12:30 PM. The ceremony celebrated the leaders, corporations, and community organizations who support the PAL program in addition to the children who take part in it.

The ceremony included a keynote speech by Jordan Pierre, a Syracuse University alum who has spoken at colleges, events, and symposiums. Pierre's speech focused on how youth mobilization can create change and how social media can be used to build community. 

The PAL program brings together youth and law enforcement in a non-law enforcement setting to build positive relationships within the community.
